Liquid Swords Plays: På Spåret

Join us on Instagram next week to play along and figure out where in the world of video games we’re headed!

We’re a pretty international bunch over at Liquid Swords. Our studio members hail from more than 15 countries, and the language spoken at the office is English. But we’re located in Sweden, so we try to share some local customs and traditions, like Cinnamon Bun Day. Now that November has rolled around, it’s time to share one of our country’s most beloved traditions: watching På Spåret.

På Spåret, which translates to On Track, is a game show on Sweden’s public service network SVT. It’s been going strong since the late 1980s and features new teams of celebrity contestants each season who compete to figure out where in the world they’re headed. The hosts give them clues, but the number of points they can win will diminish as the clues get easier.

The latest season kicks off today, and we couldn’t resist hosting our own spin on På Spåret so everyone in the studio could play along. And so can you! On Monday, November 6, we’ll post the first of five clues on our Instagram Stories!

In our version, we’re still on our way to a secret destination – it just happens to be in a video game. Monday through Friday, we’ll post a new clue that will help you solve the destination. When you think you know where we’re headed, respond to our stories!

But don’t forget, the points are reduced clue-by-clue, which means that if you figure out our secret destination on Monday, you get five points, but if you only solve it with Friday’s clue, you get one point. After that, sit back, relax, enjoy the rest of the clues, and wait for the answer (together with how well you all played) to be revealed!

While you wait for the first clue, check out our previous Liquid Swords Plays articles, where we’ve raced in Mario Kart, fought zombies in Dead Island 2, and braved the terrors in The Quarry!
